how it works

  • Receive a recording of your new choral piece in just 1 week

  • Recorded by the talented and versatile professional vocalist, David Caldarella

  • Affordable pricing at just $15 per part

​

​

  • Composers submit a piece to be recorded. Your piece will be recorded and delivered to you within 1 week. 

​

  • The recording can be used for a personal portfolio, competition submissions, and anything else the composer desires (other than for revenue-generating purposes such as streaming). â€‹

​

  • Pieces are recorded on a first-come, first-served submission basis. The submission form will close on Monday at 2pm, or earlier if 5 pieces have already been submitted.

​

  • -Instrumentation can include unlimited splits on each part, as well as piano accompaniment. Please note that a part divisi is considered a separate part.

​

  • Pricing is by the part, ranging anywhere from unison a cappella to 16 parts plus piano. You also have the option to add additional voices on each part.​​

​

  • Composers have the option to add-on "Vocalist Feedback" where the vocalist will verbally give their feedback on how it was to sing your piece. They also have the option to add "Compositional Feedback".

The weekly Timeline

ON SUNDAY AT 2PM EST:

The submission form will open.

ON MONDAY AT 2PM EST:

The submission form will close. The form will close sooner than this time if 5 pieces have already been submitted.

THE NEXT SUNDAY BY 2:00PM EST:

Composers are sent their recordings.

  • 1 Vocal Part ($15)

  • Additional voice on a part ($10)

  • Subsequent voices on a part ($5)

  • 1 Piano Part ($20)

  • Part-dominant track / part ($5)

  • Less than 5 minutes (No additional fee)

  • 5-7 minutes (Additional $20 fee)

  • 7-10 minutes (Additional $30 fee)

  • Vocalist Feedback ($15)

  • Compositional Feedback ($15)

  • Reverb and Post-Production ($10)​​

  • Ex: If you have an SATB accompanied piece that's 4 and a half minutes, the demo is $80
