Jojo Simmons

Jordan Emmanuel Simmons, mononymously known as “Jojo”, is a sophomore student and multi-instrumentalist at Texas Christian University from San Antonio, TX studying music education (strings) and composition. Although Jojo primarily writes and arranges music for chamber groups, string orchestras, and mixed ensembles, he has experience studying and composing works for choral groups, jazz bands, and full orchestra. He currently studies composition under Dr. Martin Blessinger. As an individual whose engagement in music has fully transformed their life, he aspires to share his passion with others and genuinely bring out their love for fine arts further down his career as an educator and composer.
