Nicolas Gomez-Colon is an American composer, arranger, and choral scholar currently based in Silver Spring, Maryland. He is a first year DMA Music Composition student at the University of Maryland, studying composition with Dr. Thomas DeLio. Being a choral scholar, he primarily composes choral and vocal music, specializing in a cappella music and art song collections. As a musician on the autism spectrum, Nicolas’s music emphasizes emotional development, textual exemplification, and always giving the performer(s) and audience a voice to speak.
