S.E. Andrews

S.E. (Scott Eastman) Andrews is a composer, conductor, and tenor whose music seeks to foster connection through expressions of the inner-world while confronting our shared reality. His work has been described as “deeply empathetic…driven by abstract narrative” and employs a striking coloristic and timbral language derived from his own synesthetic perceptions. An ardent chorister, he has travelled across the world as a member of the renowned Delaware Choral Scholars. As both a conductor and tenor, Andrews has premiered his own as well as fellow student’s works while studying at the University of Delaware, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in composition under the instruction of Yoshiaki Onishi and Rachael Marie Smith.
