Carter Crosby

Carter Crosby (b. 2001) is a composer and multimedia artist currently based in East Lansing, Michigan. Much of their work explores the mystery of the natural world or the spirit of human nature. They are fascinated by old technology and the preservation of personal histories, frequently incorporating found objects into the sound and aesthetic of their music. They enjoy integrating their music into other media as well, including scoring for video games or incorporating photography and multimedia into their electronic works, as well as merging different mediums within the scores themselves. They received their Bachelors of Music in Theory and Composition from the University of Kansas in Spring 2023 and is currently pursuing their Masters of Music Composition at Michigan State University.
